Rotary Club of Mid-level has applied successfully a global grant project with our international partner, Rotary Club of Taipei Sunrise on disease prevention. The grant will be used to provide free 2D X Ray mammogram screening for breast cancer to 300 needy women in Western New Territories in tandem with our breast cancer public education program in the district. There is a strong community need in the district on the community health education of breast cancer as well as financial incentive to have a mammogram test among the high risks group.

半山區扶輪社聯同友社台北市東昇扶輪社，成功向國際扶輪基金申請「乳癌早期檢測、預防和教育」項目資助。項目旨在提倡公眾對乳癌預防的意識，為新界西區合符資格、屬高發群組的婦女免費提供2D乳房X光造影檢查，名額300位。項目將包括相關的乳癌預防教育及宣傳活動。
